The Stone Bridge Chapter meets the fourth Thursday of the month in September & October and January through May. The November meeting is held on the third Thursday due to Thanksgiving; and the December meeting is held in conjunction with the Wreaths Across America event at Balls Bluff National Cemetery.

All meeting programs are focused on providing attendees with information on one of the three pillars of the DAR: Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism. The 2025-2026 Meeting Schedule is as follows:

  • September 26, 2025 (Hybrid Meeting): Program: Geo-caching 101
  • October 23, 2025 (Hybrid Meeting): Program: New Member Installation & America 250!
  • November 20, 2025 (Hybrid Meeting): Program: Honoring Our Chapter Veterans
  • December 10, 2025: DAR Christmas Open House, DAR HQ, Washington, DC
  • December 13, 2025: Wreaths Across America, Balls Bluff National Cemetery, Leesburg, VA
  • January 22, 2026: (Hybrid Meeting): Program: Pie Contest Fundraiser for DAR Good Citizen Awards
  • February 26, 2026:(Hybrid Meeting): Program: Revolutionary War Markers and Sites in Loudoun County
  • March 26, 2026: Awards Ceremony for DAR Good Citizen and Milestone Awards
  • April 23, 2026: Annual Meeting & Pot Luck Dinner; Program: Revolutionary War Trivia
  • May 28, 2026: (Hybrid Meeting): Program:The History of Flag-making in America

The Stone Bridge Chapter also participates in various local activities, as well as NSDAR sponsored activities. For example, the chapter has participated in: the NSDAR Day of Service in October by holding a chapter activity, the Wreaths Across America Ceremony which is held in mid-December, and assisting with Dessert Service for a local Honor Flight.
